Jo is our head nurse here at Buckley. Some of you may recognise her as she completed her training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse with Village Vets and obtained her qualification in 2012. She left us in 2015 to work at the small animal teaching hospital at Liverpool university’s vet school but the draw of Village Vets became too much! At Liverpool she was a surgical nurse involved in anaesthesia and scrubbing into surgical procedures to provide assistance. Whilst there she spent a further 4 years completing her diploma in advanced veterinary nursing. Her interests lie in surgery, anaesthesia and teaching. We are so lucky to have Jo back with us to spread her skills, lead our nursing team and ensure all the patients we have under our care here at Village receive the best, up to date treatment possible.
